This election season’s so maddening that it motivated Bobby Charles to go in the studio and cut a new song, “Take Back My Country.” More than anything, it’s a get out and vote song, but there’s a pretty obvious clue as to which way he’s leaning. Regardless of your politics, you’ve got to love the warmth in Charles’ voice and the signature sound of Sonny Landreth on guitar.
